With the gradual increase in negative factors, buyers and sellers entered the market and wait-and-see sentiment increased, which hindered the general transaction and the price of molybdenum from rising again. 

The current prices of molybdenum concentrate and ferro molybdenum are separately about 2,240 yuan/mtu and 153,000 yuan/ton. According to Chinatungsten Online, some steel companies’ delayed purchase time and lower prices are the main reasons for the slowdown in order growth compared with last week. However, after the previous round of large shipments, molybdenum mining companies are under smaller inventory pressure.
