Analysis TZM-La2O3 Alloy

Use Mo, TiH2, ZrH2 powder, rare earth oxides La2O3 and graphite powder as raw materials to produce TZM-La2O3 alloy by powder metallurgy. And after study the effect of La2O3 on the microstructure and properties of TZM alloy and study the TZM-La2O3 alloy properties and microstructure.
After adding La2O3 the grain of TZM alloy are significantly refine and the refinement effect was more obvious with increasing of La2O3content. La2O3 particle dispersion filled the holes in the sintering, which increase the density of the sintered TZM alloy the hardness of the alloy raised with the increasing of La2O3 content. It significantly delayed recrystallization to add La2O3, and TZM alloy recrystallization temperature gradually increased 100~300℃ with the increasing of La2O3 content. La2O3particles had a significant toughening effect on TZM alloy, and it can significant increase the tensile strength and elongation of TZM alloy at room temperature.
One-way rolling TZM-La2O3 alloy had higher recrystallization temperature and tensile strength than the cross rolling TZM-La2O3 alloy, but its elongation was lower. One-way rolling TZM-La2O3 alloy had obvious anisotropy, so the alloy gets more uniform performance.
