In the temperature range of 1150℃~1300℃, the deformation resistance of titanium zirconium molybdenum alloy increase with deformation degree increases. But with the increase of the deformation degree the rate of deformation resistance was decrease. This change rule is similar with magnesium alloys, aluminum alloy, copper alloy and tungsten alloy’s plastic deformation change rule.
This changes rule is connect with dislocation interaction, as deformation degree increases, the dislocation density is increasing. Thus, the dislocation will aggravate self-intersection during movement to generate a fixed cut order, dislocation tangles and other obstacles to increases resistance of dislocation motion, causing deformation resistance increased so the hardening of production appear. On the other hand, when the deformation increases, the amount of deformation degree of TZM alloy is increase and to generate temperature effect, so the value of deformation resistance is tend to stable. When the temperature increase can reduce dislocational intersect and dislocation tangles to some extent and thus plays a softening effect to process hardening.
