Recrystallization Texture of Titanium Zirconium Molybdenum

For poorly soluble metal molybdenum, the recrystallization is always an important research question, because recrystallization for subsequent processing and use has an important impact, and it will also affect superalloys temperature choice. Molybdenum recrystallization temperature is generally 900-1200℃, it fully recrystallization texture is equi-axed crystal and in the vicinity of room temperature after recrystallization it become brittle material.
Adding Ti, Zr and other alloying elements in molybdenum and on one hand these elements played solution strengthening role in solution treatment to matrix molybdenum, on the other hand, these elements can react with carbide to form tungsten carbide and played second phase dispersion strengthening role.
Testing titanium zirconium molybdenum (TZM) panel recrystallization texture, the total processing rate of panel is about 90%, which is the annealing temperature, respectively, 1100,1250,1400,1550 ℃, the corresponding temperature for 1 hour.
After the experimental data was found, TZM alloy at 1100 ℃begins recrystallization, with increasing annealing temperature, and then increase the proportion of the crystalline portion occupied, this phenomenon has been extended to 1400 ℃ annealing, as the temperature rises, recrystallization no increased significantly, which recrystallization texture after annealing 1500 ℃ and 1400 ℃ annealing recrystallization texure is not very different.
