2016 LED will account for a quarter of the global lighting market

It is reported that, thanks to the manufacturers capacity expansion, LED prices drop, environmental considerations, as well as government subsidies, LED lighting demand improved rapidly. Demand for LED lighting will be raised to 3 million in 2013, compared with 16 million in 2012 to double, and will take three times the growth in 2016.
Demand for LED lighting products like spotlights, LED lamps, street lamps, LED bulbs and fluorescent tubes will reached 90 million in 2016, penetration will from only 5% in 2012 to 26%. The continued growth of the commercial office lighting, the implementation of government subsidies, as well as consumer demand for energy-saving products is the main reason for the increase of the LED penetration.
