Under the circumstances that the speed of steel companies entering the market has slowed down, the price of molybdenum has risen again and is slightly weak. In addition, affected by the weak and stable international molybdenum market, some domestic suppliers have a strong profit-taking psychology. Energy prices are still relatively high, and transportation costs are not low, so the production cost of molybdenum chemical products is relatively high, and the spot inventory of molybdenum raw materials is not much.

In terms of news: the "2022 World Steel Statistics" released by the World Steel Association shows that in 2021, the global crude steel output will be 1.951 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%; among them, China's crude steel output will reach 1.033 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0% . In terms of apparent consumption, in 2021, the global apparent consumption of finished steel will be 1.834 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%; among them, China will be 952 million tons, a decrease of 5.4%. Last year, the global per capita apparent consumption of finished steel was 232.8 kg, a year-on-year increase of 3.8 kg; of which, China was 666.5 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 32.7 kg.
