China Molybdenum Powder Prices - Jun. 9, 2020

The prices of molybdenum powder, ferro molybdenum and sodium molybdate are unchanged from the previous trading day in China when the enthusiasm of the upstream and downstream enterprises to enter the market increases slightly. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, market activity has increased, and under the background of relatively low raw material prices and the gradual launch of a new round of steel tenders, steel companies have a higher enthusiasm for entering the market, providing confidence for molybdenum companies to provide strong quotations.

In the ferro-molybdenum market, the trading is active. With the gradual improvement of the steel market, the ferro-molybdenum merchants' mentality is also optimistic, but the transaction price is still low. In the molybdenum chemical and its products market, the fundamentals are still weak. End customers generally maintain rigid purchases, having poor willingness to take goods, and reasonably controlling stock level. Therefore, the current price adjustments for most products are mainly affected by fluctuations in the upstream market. .
