Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest price of molybdenum oxide, ammonium molybdate and ammonium heptamolvbdate maintain stability. As large miners stabilized their new offers, molybdenum concentrate market performed well in supply and demand. The supply was tight, product prices kept firm and market confidence was boosted. Downstream product prices also got supported from the cost.
Ferro molybdenum traders were cautious of risk of price inversion. Although the supply of raw materials was tight and the cost side kept firm, the steel tender seemed unstable under weak demand and external trade environment. On the whole, considering different views on the outlook of market participants, the market is expected to stabilize in the short term.
