Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest prices of ferro molybdenum, ammonium molybdate and ammonium heptamolvbdate edge lower compared with last trading day. With the consumption of low-price resources and influence of environmental protection, raw material manufacturers have little pressure of stocks, but molybdenum concentrate prices are still hard to rise.
The decline in prices and quantity of steel tender is dragging ferro molybdenum prices down while smelting factories affected by costs and demand are hard to sell their products at high prices. The whole market trading is sluggish. The market is expected to remain weak before the Spring Festival.
