The latest prices of ferro molybdenum, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide dropped slightly in the week began on Monday January 14 in the Chinese market. The downturn in steel tender weakened ferro molybdenum market confidence. Although molybdenum ore prices declining eased pressure faced by manufacturers, thin market trading still dragged transaction prices down. This week, traders would continue to wait for further price down and molybdenum market is expected to remain weak.
