Prices of ferromolybdenum, sodium molybdate and ammonium molybdate drop slightly on the first trading day of 2019 in the Chinese molybdenum market on heavy wait-and-see atmosphere of insiders.
On the one hand, large companies lower their offer levels of mines; on the other hand, funds and demand are under pressure in the steel market, resulting in the decline in prices and quantity of ferro molybdenum. Moreover, the unstable external trade environment also affects trading activity at home and abroad.
