The prices of molybdenum powder, ammonium molybdate and ammonium heptamolvbdate dropped slightly in the week to Friday December 14 due to continued weakness in steel tenders and pressure of demand and funds. Enterprises have maintained cautious attitude toward the market and cut their profits for more sales recently.
As steel mills are not active in tenders, delay to purchase or try to force price down, ferromolybdenum manufacturers are not optimistic about the market before the New Year’ Day. for molybdenum concentrate market, prices decline gradually under the weakness in both supply and demand sides. In the short term, the environmental protection in winter and steel biddings need to be followed.
