FeMo, MoO3 Prices Stable As Market Focuses On Long-Term Contracts

Ferro-molybdenum (FeMo) and molybdic oxide (MoO3) prices stabilised in Europe on Friday November 13, as market participants shifted their focus towards long-term contracts.
Some have yet to begin negotiations, while others are already well into the process, sources told Metal Bulletin. Prices therefore remained flat at $12.40-12.50 per kg for ferro-molybdenum and $4.50-4.70 per lb for molybdic oxide. Volumes for next year look relatively steady so far, although market participants with exposure to the oil and gas.
