Black Molybdenum Wire

Black molybdenum wire in the outside cover with graphite coating so the surface color of it is black. On the other hand, all black molybdenum wire is produced after annealing treatment.  
Black molybdenum wire mainly use in molybdenum furnace and heat field of vacuum tube base. Black molybdenum wire is kind of refining molybdenum rod and it can divide into white molybdenum wire (cleaned molybdenum wire), black molybdenum wire, spray molybdenum wire, cutting molybdenum wire and so on. Molybdenum wire often use as high temperature heating furnace’s material and heating wire mesh of timbering material and so on. Black molybdenum wire at the high temperature has high strengthening, good abrasive resistance, good weld ability, high creep resistant, good ductility and long service life. So black molybdenum wire widely use as wire-drawing dies, casting die, grid electrode, high temperature stir bar, high temperature plate, high temperature components, strutting piece, electronic valve grid, incandescent lamp hook and so on.
Molybdenum application amount is not wide and it mainly uses to produce cathode and anode of vacuum tube and as tungsten bracket of electric bulb and so on. In 1927, people first time to produce ultra pure metal molybdenum and the purity of molybdenum reached to 99.999%. Then making this metal molybdenum draws to wire and as wire of integrated circuit. Besides, metal molybdenum wire also can use in machine tool spark working. In recent years, the cnc wire-cut machine which produced by China has been use metal molybdenum wire to conduct, cutting and spark working. Protecting by inert gases, molybdenum wire and tungsten wire can be configured into high temperature thermocouple and apply in testing 1200℃-2000℃ high temperature.
