To study the effect of different Zr dopping amount on TZM alloy’s mechanical property for improve TZM alloy’s whole performance. After studies found, with Zr dopping amount increase, TZM alloy substrate’s micro hardness up to the maximum. And this is because the solution strengthening of Zr element improve alloy’s properties.
The deformation resistance of alloy is the largest When the temperature at 1300 or 1400℃, Zr dopping amount at 0.07% and C content at 0.08%. Besides, the alloy with temperature increase the deformation resistance decrease, and this is because the solution strengthening of Zr up to the maximum. So when the dopping amount of Zr increase, the oxide increase as well, and the embrittlement effect will more obviously then to decrease alloy’s deformation resistance. When Zr dopping amount at 0.1% alloy sample at 1400℃ cracked, because too much Zr oxide not only can’t improve alloy’s deformation resistance, but to decrease and the embrittlement effect will more obviously.
