TZM alloy has high conductivity and on the air can be cooled rapidly. It is impossible to achieve the insulation problem of alloy rolling. So after finished cogging we have to heating cooled alloy, namely, hot-rolled, which increase the amount of deformation of TZM alloy billet is hot-rolled purpose.
In the hot rolling process, in order to increase productivity and to make uniform deformation of alloy from inside and outside, so the hot rolling process will use a larger amount of rolling reduction and increase pass. Because if the pass processing rate is small, deformation can not go deep into the middle of TZM alloy billet so it will cause uneven deformation, resulting in rolling workspaces mouth often and layered.
Meanwhile, in the hot rolling process, but also consider the TZM alloy billet final rolling temperature. Research shows that the final rolling has a great impact on the organization and properties of the alloy. Finish rolling temperature is high (more than the recrystallization temperature) grain rolling billet grain is very coarse. In contrast, at a lower temperature, the alloy has a fine tissue which crushed along the longitudinal axis. Select the appropriate final rolling temperature the alloy billet at a high temperature recovery state, provide a good basis to be followed by warm rolling processing, general TZM alloy finishing temperature at 1200 ℃.
