TZM Hot Runner System

Titanium zirconium molybdenum alloy called TZM, alloyed of 0.50% titanium, 0.08% zirconium and 0.02% carbon into molybdenum alloy, is a high-temperature alloy, a solid solution hardening and particle strengthening molybdenum-based alloys, which have higher recrystallization temperature, high strength, good thermal conductivity, low-low vapor pressure, good corrosion resistance, therefore can be processed, which has a higher heat resistance than pure molybdenum and better creep resistance.

TZM runner is made of titanium zirconium molybdenum alloy as raw materials. TZM hot runner system is a new construction that heat runners of the traditional mold or three plate mold often, where that is not required to remove runners each forming. TZM hot runner system is divided into thermal insulation runner system and miniature semi hot runner system.  The design of thermal insulation runner system is complicated, but the effect is good and maintenance costs are very low. The miniature semi-runner simplify the structure, which is stable, easy to use and has a low fault rate, so the maintenance costs are low due to the simple construction, which gives a greater assurance to stable production.
