Hot runner injection molding of plastic melt and the runner is always heated state, and thus the plastic material and mold structure put forward the corresponding requirements of the inevitable limitations of its use. Disadvantages hot runner injection molding concrete are the following:
1. The need for a dedicated runner structure, the initial investment will inevitably lead to increased costs. Mold complex structure, high manufacturing costs, maintenance difficulties, higher maintenance costs accordingly. High purity requirements of the molding resin, can not contain impurities, or easily clogged nozzle, not suitable for heat-sensitive resin.
2. Melt leak occurs when the heating element failures, product quality and production schedules greater impact. Often need to be removed mold and hot runner systems, carried out in addition to plastic cleaning and inspection, and then replace the damaged components, generally requires more than three days time.
3. precision machining and assembly of the mold are higher, and otherwise cause internal leak glue runner system, damage to the heating element. Temperature control requirements more stringent, requiring precise temperature control device. No uniform temperature control, the temperature difference will cause the melt material, resulting in non-uniform filling. Manifold prone to thermal expansion, easy to produce melt leaks and heating element failures.
