Preparation TZM alloy slab

TZM alloy slab is usually prepared by Powder Metallurgy, namely Mo powder added TIHZ, ZrH: and C powder by ball milling, drying and compact process, and finally through the four stages of sintering. TZM alloy slab quality directly affects the performance of the plate, the production process instability will follow the deep processing, and performance TZM alloy sheet will have an impact.

1.TZM alloy powder mixed system. Molybdenum powder as the main raw material, adding TIH2 powder, ZrH2 powder and C powder, mixed by ball milling, pressing, sintering into dense composite.

2. The molding powder metallurgy production process is the second track basic process, one of the most important and essential step. It is a dense metal powder into a certain shape, the process size, porosity, and strength (density) of the briquettes. Compacts quality directly affects the final quality of the powder metallurgy products. Press molding powders commonly used methods are: steel suppression, fluid isostatic pressing, powder forging, press forming a tri-axial vibration repression.

3. Sintering refers to a powder or powder compacts in an appropriate atmosphere, high temperature treatment at a temperature below the melting point of the main component. Purpose is to produce a metallurgical bond between the powder particles, even if the transition between the powder particles by mechanical engagement to binding between atoms of the grain boundary, a process to increase the strength of the slab.
