30 Cr-Mo alloy steel with high strength and toughness, high hardenability, critical quenching in oil diameter 15 ~ 70mm; steel thermal strength is also good, at below 500 ℃ with a sufficiently high temperature strength, but 550 when ℃ decreased significantly its strength; lower limit of the alloying elements when welding is quite good, but close to the upper limit of the welding medium and preheating before welding to over 175 ℃; good machinability of steel, cold deformation plasticity medium; heat when in the range of 300 ~ 350 ℃, a first temper brittleness; white spots tends to be formed.
