Some of our large molybdenum deposit (eg Jinduicheng, Shangfanggou, Sandaozhuang, Nannihu and Montenegro), due to the large reserves, shallow, and therefore most suitable for open pit mining. Future open pit mining method will become our main molybdenite. Generally speaking, China's open-molybdenum mining methods and abroad, as also will be divided into a number of open pit mining mining step, the step height is generally about 10m. Jinduicheng molybdenum mine in order to reduce losses and dilution, the use of strip mining points, ahead of stripping measures. Currently, the molybdenum mine stripping ratio of 0.55, ore dilution rate of 0.9%, mining loss rate of 2.08%, the ore grade of 0.12%.

 

Some of our vein molybdenum deposit, or some deep pit ore mining method still requires the use of mining, the largest mining pit molybdenum mine is Yangjiazhangzi molybdenum ore, ore capacity of 5000 ~ 8000t / d. Pioneering method of underground mining molybdenum mine shaft development is flat and inclined to develop pioneering hole (Table 3.14.7). Mining methods use more shrinkage method. Thick above the ore body, the use of deep-hole shrinkage method, thick ore body to use more or less shrinkage stoping method. Currently several major underground mining of molybdenum, 10,000 t of its mining excavation volume of about 300m. Mining loss rate of 12% to 15%, ore dilution rate of 15% to 24% of the ore grade of 0.2% to 0.3%.
