iPhone 5S prototype with larger battery and dual LED flash leaks online

The alleged picture of iPhone 5S leaks yet again showing the kind of hardware the smartphone might tuck under its hood.

The arrangement of the components and connectors on the circuit board resembles the earlier leak closely, while the opening for the LED light seems to have an oval shape to accommodate the dual LED flash, which has been circulating in rumors since last year with some reports suggesting at a bluish tint in the LED. Besides that, the back side of the iPhone 5S leaked earlier appears to be unchanged.

On the side, there is a battery with a 5.95 watt hours rating, which is pretty good as compared to the 5.45 watt hours battery in the iPhone 5.

According to MacRumors, there is no clear picture on the processor to be used in the iPhone 5S, but there are speculations that the Apple A6 SoC could be used for testing purposes.

The much rumored iPhone 5S is expected to arrive to the market in the second half of this year accompanied by a cheaper iPhone model. Both the smartphones are likely to house a 4-inch display and run on the recently announced iOS 7 platform. The low cost iPhone is perhaps claimed to be slightly thicker and to be made using plastic, while the iPhone 5S is most likely to have an aluminum design as the current model.

Specwise, the iPhone 5S is rumored to flaunt a 4.8-inch display, A7X quad-core processor, iOS 7, 2GB RAM and 16/32/64/128GB internal storage. Other rumored goodies on board include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, 3G, NFC and an enhanced battery life. (By Know Your Mobile India)
