European molybdenum prices edged up on Tuesday as slightly improved levels of buying activity both in the inter-trade and consumer markets triggered some traders and producers into quoting higher numbers for prompt release material.
Ferromolybdenum 65%min was being offered between USD24.80-25.30kg Mo in warehouse Rotterdam on Tuesday, up USD0.10-0.15kg Mo from late last week, whilst offers of molybdenum oxide 57%min stood between USD9.75-9.85lb in warehouse Rotterdam on Tuesday, up a fractional USD0.05-0.10lb from Monday.
