China Molybdenum Concertrate Prices Up As Steel Mills Restock

China molybdenum concentrate prices have been in upward momentum so far this week, following the gains in ferro-molybdenum prices on robust demand.

The spot price of molybdenum concentrate 45% metal content stands at 1,430-1,440 yuan ($232-234) per mtu, up 10 yuan from last Friday. Most major stainless 

steel and special steel mills have returned to the market this week for restocking.  And Shougang Group has raised its September purchase price to 101,000-102,000 yuan per tonne.
