Molybdenum Rebound Continues on High Producer Offers

Molybdenum prices soared on Friday July 26 as producers hiked offers further after a mid-week bounce, helped by consumer tenders and short-covering among traders.

Ferro-molybdenum prices rose to $23.20-23.60 per kg, compared with $22.50-23.20 on Wednesday and $22.90-23.40 per kg on July 19. The only producer offers I saw were at $23.35 and $23.55.
