Chinese Molybdenum Miners Raise Offers As Sentiment Improves

Chinese molybdenum miners raised offers for concentrate this week, as enquiries from buyers went up after sentiment improved in the European market.

Local miners are offering to sell molybdenum concentrate with 45% metal content at 1,400-1,420 yuan ($227-230) per mtu, up 10-20 yuan from last week.

Deals were held at Friday’s level of 1,380-1,400 yuan for the time being.The market is more active than it has been in the past weeks.
