Domestic Ferromoly Prices Are also Softening

The most recent deal was at Yuan 1,380/mtu for 20 mt, said the trader. "A Chinese buyer was planning to buy 40 mt of concentrate but decided to buy only 20 mt at Yuan 1,380/mtu," the trader said.
The first Chinese producer said domestic ferromoly prices were also softening. The latest sale to a Chinese steelmaker was at Yuan 96,000/mt ex-plant, while another Chinese market source said the latest buy tender was awarded from a steelmaker was awarded at Yuan 94,000/mt.
Chinese domestic ferromoly prices have been falling over the last four months, from where they were generally heard at Yuan 105,000-108,000/mt ex-plant on March 18.
