The South Korean government decided to ensure a steady supply of domestic rare metals exploration will focus on the country's 11 regions.
The day of the South Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy announced the Foreign Economic Executive meeting held in the central government building including the above rare metals to ensure program.
Ministry of Knowledge Economy plans for a surge in demand of rare metals such as lithium and rare earth, through active overseas investment to ensure domestic supply, and decided that 2013 will of Gangwon Province hongchon and Chungbuk Chungju 11 rare metals could hold the key to exploration.
In addition, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy also decided to continue to increase the scale of scarce resources such as chromium, molybdenum reserves to 76,000 tons in 2016.
