TZM alloy gas tungsten arc welding process and welded joints

TZM molybdenum alloy with a high melting point, high elastic modulus, low coefficient of thermal expansion, good electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and high temperature mechanical properties and other characteristics, therefore TZM is widely used as a high temperature of mold industry and the field of aviation, aerospace alloys, such as torpedo engine with valve body, rocket nozzles, gas piping, nozzle throat insert, machinery industry used to do black and non-ferrous metal die-casting mold materials and seamless stainless steel pipe piercing plug, such as engine the rotor of the copper molds, etc. TZM molybdenum alloy mostly prepared by powder metallurgy, get TZM under a high-temperature protective atmosphere high-temperature and then after the high-temperature hot-rolled, annealing, hot-rolled in the temperature, medium-temperature annealing, and then warm-rolled to obtain TZM sheet. TZM alloy as a structural material, often by welding to obtain the desired shape and configuration.
