The current molybdenum prices are still relatively high, and the global manufacturing industry's recovery is unstable, leading to limited demand from downstream users.

In terms of news, data from the General Administration of Customs shows that from January to August 2023, China's cumulative exports of steel sheets amounted to 38.19 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 26.0%. Cumulative exports of steel bars reached 7.36 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 50.0%. In August alone, China's exports of steel sheets amounted to 5.61 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 49.3%, while exports of steel bars reached 1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 56.2%.
