China’s Ammonium Molybdate Price – May 6, 2023

The steel companies that recently entered the bidding for ferromolybdenum include Shanxi Taigang, with a quantity of 60 tons, to be delivered before May 20; Zhangjiagang Posco, with 120 tons, to be delivered before May 22; Jiangsu Zhongtian 30 tons, bidding price is 229,000 yuan/ton; Fushun Special Steel 120 tons; Changshu Longteng Special Steel 32 tons, delivery before May 10.

In terms of news: According to data from the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, in late April, the social inventory of five major varieties of steel in 21 cities was 11.51 million tons, a decrease of 1.6% from the previous month, a decrease of 6.5% from the end of March, an increase of 53.1% from the beginning of the year, and a year-on-year increase of 53.1%. down 9.4%. In terms of regions, the inventory in Southwest China decreased by 5.7% month-on-month, that in North China decreased by 7.2%, that in East China decreased by 2.5%, that in Northwest China decreased by 2.6%, that in Central China decreased by 0.9%, that in South China increased by 4.7% month-on-month, and that in Northeast China increased by 2.4%.
