However, with the sharp rise in molybdenum prices in late November, the fear of heights among downstream users has also increased, which has led to a decline in market activity and transaction volume.

According to Chinatungsten Online, the main reasons for the lack of spot supply in the current market are: molybdenum mining companies shipped in batches in the early stage and the production speed has not accelerated in the near future; the exchange rate of USD to RMB (7.0236) is still high and the international molybdenum price is relatively high. Both are not conducive to the heating up of my country's molybdenum import market, so the import of molybdenum raw materials is limited.
