Molybdenum market quotation: ferro molybdenum, molybdenum oxide and concentrate prices increase slightly on December 16, 2021 under the influence of many uncertain factors in the world. 

In the molybdenum concentrate market, there is an overall trend of tight supply and high price. Although downstream users are still cautious when entering the market, due to the limited production of domestic mining enterprises and the limited import volume, holders are generally more aware of price increases. The current price of molybdenum concentrate has been raised to around RMB 2,300/mtu.

In the ferromolybdenum market, the overall situation is in a dilemma. Under the contradiction between the lower than expected price of steel and the high selling price of molybdenum concentrate, intermediate smelting companies are facing a greater risk of upside-down. Some merchants have tentatively raised their quotations or suspend to make quotations. 

In the molybdenum chemical and its products market, the buying and selling atmosphere on the market is general. Under the influence of the sharp increase in the price of raw materials, suppliers are less willing to make price changes. In order to obtain more profits, the end customers are also more afraid of heights, so the new Increased orders are scarce.

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November, my country's crude steel output was 946.36 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.6%; pig iron output was 796.23 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.2%; steel output was 1.223 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1%. Among them, the output of crude steel in November was 69.31 million tons, down 22.0% year-on-year; the output of pig iron was 61.73 million tons, down 16.6% year-on-year; the output of steel was 101.03 million tons, down 14.7% year-on-year. In November, the average daily output of crude steel in my country was 2.3103 million tons, an increase of 0.06% from the previous month; the average daily output of pig iron was 2.0577 million tons, an increase of 1.2% from the previous month; the average daily output of steel was 3.367 million tons, an increase of 2.6% from the previous month.
