Supported by factors such as the average volume and price of the downstream steel bidding market, the stable operation of the international molybdenum market, the greater difficulty of molybdenum mining enterprises, and the stable recovery of China’s economy, suppliers were generally firm in quoting prices. However, due to the repeated global epidemics and the implementation of steel production restrictions in some regions, downstream steel companies are still cautious in entering the market and consumption, so transactions are average. It is worth mentioning that up to now, the number of bids for ferromolybdenum in August has exceeded 4000 tons and the mainstream price of molybdenum powder is above 312 yuan/kg.
