In the molybdenum concentrate market, overall activity has increased, but downstream users’ willingness to replenish their positions and some molybdenum mining companies’ mining volumes have declined. These are the main reasons for the increased sentiment of reluctance to sell on the market, and even a few holders have tentatively raised their quotations.

In the ferromolybdenum market, the mainstream transaction price has temporarily stabilized at around 156,000 yuan/ton. At the beginning of the month, downstream steel companies intensively entered the market for bidding and the sentiment of upstream merchants was general, making it possible for the ferromolybdenum price to rise again.

In the molybdenum chemical industry and its products market, product prices are still mainly affected by the relationship between supply and demand. Under the influence of end customers generally maintaining rigid procurement and upstream raw material supply and not very loose, it is difficult for molybdenum chemical companies to quote prices, and profit margins are small.

In 2021, there will be a total of 1708 key technological transformation projects in Hebei Province, with a total planned investment of 437.92 billion yuan. Focusing on seven areas of steel (94 items), equipment (432 items), petrochemicals (140 items), food (210 items), textiles and clothing (66 items), building materials (98 items), and light industry (189 items), In the transformation and upgrading of traditional advantageous industries, there are a total of 1229 projects in the seven fields, accounting for 71.9%, and the total investment is 305.92 billion yuan, accounting for 69.9%.
