Molybdenum Oxide Price - May 24, 2021

Molybdenum market quotation in China: molybdenum oxide, ammonium molybdate and molybdenum bar prices keep firm on May 24, 2021 owing to active trading in the market. 

Favorable factors such as rising prices of bulk commodities, concentrated entry of steel companies for bidding, and relatively slow international logistics and transportation have all contributed to the increase in the price of molybdenum chemical products.

In April 2020, 445 products out of 612 products increased year-on-year. Steel 121.28 million tons, an increase of 12.5%; cement 239.28 million tons, an increase of 6.3%; ten non-ferrous metals, 5.48 million tons, an increase of 11.6%; ethylene 2.21 million tons, an increase of 19.0%; 2.273 million automobiles, an increase of 6.8%, of which , 229,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 175.9%; power generation 623 billion kWh, an increase of 11.0%; crude oil processing volume of 57.9 million tons, an increase of 7.5%.
