Molybdenum market quotation in China: ferro molybdenum, molybdenum powder and concentrate prices remain stable on April 26, 2021. Driven by the rebound of international price, domestic traders shore up their confidence.
With the approaching of Labour Day holiday, downstream steel mills are more active in tenders. Mainstream prices of tenders hover around RMB 112,200/ton. In the short term, market price will tend to stabilize.
In March 2021, the global crude steel output of the 64 countries included in the World Steel Association statistics was 169.2 million tons, an increase of 15.2% year-on-year, of which China's crude steel output was 94 million tons, an increase of 19.1% year-on-year. From January to March 2021, global crude steel production was 486.9 million tons, an increase of 10.0% year-on-year, of which crude steel production in Asia and Oceania was 356.9 million tons, an increase of 13.2% year-on-year.
