Ferro Molybdenum Price - April 21, 2021

Molybdenum market quotation in China: ferro molybdenum, ammonium molybdate and ammonium heptamolvbdate prices are unchanged from the previous trading day on April 21, 2021. In the face of weak domestic demand, international market also is quiet and offered are hard to increase. 

Some participants pay attention to steel tenders and import of raw materials before the holiday of May Day, while few of steel mills are will to purchase ferro molybdenum as they think prices of tender can be accepted. at present, mining enterprises slow down their production pace, which shores up confidence of suppliers to some extent. 

With the recovery of overseas manufacturing, steel exports rebounded, China’s steel sheet exports from January to March totaled 11.41 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 29.1%, of which 4.84 million tons were exported in March, a year-on-year increase of 18.4%; steel wire rod exports from January to March totaled 510,000 tons, an increase of 23.5% year-on-year, of which 190,000 tons were exported in March, an increase of 4.9% year-on-year, according to statistics from the General Administration of Customs.
