Molybdenum market quotation in China: ferro molybdenum, molybdenum oxide and molybdenum concentrate prices continue to maintain stability on March 18, 2021 in the face of many instabilities around the world.

Molybdenum mining companies basically maintain firm quotations in the molybdenum concentrate market, while downstream users generally maintain rigid demand. The current mainstream quotations of molybdenum concentrates are above 1,730 yuan/ton. 

In the ferro-molybdenum market, downstream steel companies are more enthusiastic about entering the market for bidding, but the bidding price is not optimistic. In addition, under the situation of high raw material prices, suppliers are less willing to sell at low prices. The molybdenum chemical and its products market is caught in wait-and-see atmosphere. In the case of poor market and upstream markets, it is difficult for holders to increase their quotations, and for end customers to lower prices due to cost support.
