Electrodes made of high-purity molybdenum materials have very good high temperature and corrosion resistance, and good dimensional stability, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. They are often used as heating materials in glass, rare earth and other fields.

When preparing glass melt, the good performance of molybdenum electrode plays an important role. Electrodes with high density can produce high-quality finished products as the impurity affects the chroma and transparency of the glass. High density is beneficial to prolong the service life of the furnace and the electrode, and at the same time it is not easy to be corroded by the molten glass. Therefore, to obtain high-quality glass fiber, the material to produce electrode should be with high density and purity.
