Molybdenum market quotation in China: molybdenum concentrate, molybdenum oxide and ammonium heptamolvbdate prices are unchanged from the previous trading day due to low trading activity and cautious sentiment of market participants.
Recently, import prices of molybdenum oxide and molybdenum raw materials have fallen slightly, which has a certain negative impact on domestic market. In addition, the new round of steel mill bidding has not yet begun. Therefore, it is difficult for suppliers to increase the quotation. With the support of high production cost, traders are unwilling to cut profits. The market outlook remains unclear at the end of the year.
According to the latest OECD forecast, the global economy will shrink by 4.2% in 2020, which is 0.3% higher than the forecast in September this year. Among them, the US economy will drop by 3.7%, the Eurozone economy will drop by 7.5%, Japan's economy will drop by 5.3%, and the UK economy will drop by 11.2%.
