The molybdenum price in China still keeps stable in the last trading of May owing to limited demand from end users and unclear market outlook under the mixed factors.
There is still a large room for transaction increase in the molybdenum concentrate market. In the case of limited stocks of raw material molybdenum concentrate and low downstream demand, it is difficult for molybdenum companies to raise prices, but the intention to reduce prices is not high, and more traders are waiting for the market in June. The ferro molybdenum market is active with concentrated steel tenders. And for the molybdenum chemical and product market, most buyers have finished their purchasing plans at the end of this month, so the market trading is quiet.
