China Molybdenum Powder Prices - Apr. 7, 2020

Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest prices of ferro molybdenum, molybdenum bar and molybdenum powder are unchanged from last week due to active market trading and optimistic view of market participants. 

First, the inventories of downstream users are about to run out, purchasing sentiment gets better at the beginning of the month. Second, under the background of concentrated steel bidding and tight supply of raw materials, ferro molybdenum merchants had a higher intention to take goods, and prices of molybdenum products have slightly increased. Third, the international molybdenum market has been operating smoothly, which has played a supporting role in the confidence of the domestic market. However, due to the inflection point that has not yet appeared in the epidemic, most operators have greater uncertainty about the market outlook.
