The prices of molybdenum oxide and molybdenum concentrate in China continue to decline owing to quiet market trading and deadlocked supply and demand. For the molybdenum concentrate market, product prices are hard to rise as ferro molybdenum companies remain low purchasing demand.
The ferro molybdenum market is under pressure on the whole because steel mills delay signing their purchasing contracts and choose to stand on market side lines. Most insiders hold a very cautious view on market outlook. The molybdenum chemical and product market is weak under the relatively pessimistic global market. Some product prices edge lower.
