Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest prices of ammonium heptamolvbdate, molybdenum concentrate and ammonium molybdate were in the downward trend on March 2, 2020 on cautious sentiment of both sellers and buyers. Market trading activity is low, but supported by the cost side, most companies have good confidence for the outlook.
On the one hand, due to the calming of national policies, downstream users remain insufficient consumption capacity, which has resulted in a slightly abundant raw material inventory, a relatively unstable mentality of traders and reasonable price adjustments; on the other hand, under the relatively sluggish development of global manufacturing industry, manufacturers have less overall demand for molybdenum concentrates, which has a certain impact on the confidence of upstream merchants.
