Prices for ferro molybdenum and molybdenum concentrate in China declined slightly in the week ended on Friday February 21, 2020 due to effected controlled of coronavirus.
In the molydenum concentrate market, sellers declined their offers slightly affected by low purchasing enthusiasm of downstream buyers. The ferromolybdenum market was weak with the impact of poor performance in steel tenders. Most manufacturers remained cautious sentiment with rare transactions concluded. In the short term, insiders will focus on the new round of steel biddings. For prices in the molybdenum chemical and product market, they were adjusted in line with the raw material markets. Under the persistent weakness in the terminal side, traders remained cautious operations.
