The molybdenum powder, molybdenum concentrate and sodium molybdate prices in the Chinese market remain stable in the middle of February considering to low trading activity and cautious sentiment of traders.
There are three reasons for the situation: first, more and more molybdenum chemical companies resume under the control of the Coronavirus, which can effectively solve the problem of supply shortage; second, downstream steel mills are worrying about the logistic, and ferro molybdenum producers keep good confidence; third, under quiet policy side, the weakness in the demand side is hard to improve in the short term.
