Molybdenum market quotation in China: the ferro molybdenum, molybdenum oxide and molybdenum powder prices were rose slightly in the week ended on Friday February 14, 2020 despite quiet market inquiry and cautious sentiment of traders.
Molybdenum ore, ferro molybdenum and other chemical and product companies gradually come back to work, but the operating rate is in a very low level, so the raw materials of molybdenum concentrate are in the shortage, which boosted traders' confidence of firm offers. With the impact of the Coronavirus, the transpiration is limited, plus with hard resumption of production, the manufacturing cost increases, and most companies have to raised offers in order to avoid the risk of price inversion.
