Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest ferro molybdenum, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum powder prices edged lower compared with last trading day owing to heavy wait-and-see atmosphere in the market.
In the molybdenum concentrate market, raw material transactions were rarely concluded due to low trading activity of downstream steel mills. Prices declined slightly but limited supported by high production costs. Deals in the ferro molybdenum market also failed to meet market expectations while molybdenum chemical and product markets remained quiet under poor performance of raw material markets.
