Molybdenum market quotation in China: the molybdenum oxide, molybdenum powder and concentrate prices maintain stability in the first trading day after the holiday of Mid-Autumn Festival as the market is under pressure.
In terms of molybdenum concentrate, the fundamentals continue to be optimistic, and the National Day is coming, forcing many provinces and cities to gradually strengthen environmental protection supervision. Some mining enterprises are slow to produce, and short-term low stocks will continue. Ferromolybdenum market is weak but stable, and the demand for steel scrap is still relatively limited. In the context that the price of molybdenum concentrate may be higher in the later period, the quotation of ferromolybdenum products may be correspondingly improved, effectively reducing the pressure on suppliers. Molybdenum chemical and its products market's trading volume is slightly less, most of the product prices remain unchanged, and the growth of buyers' consumer demand is still weak, but in the situation of insufficient spot stocks, the holders are basically cautious and conservative.
